Jug Band 1.2

This application faithfully recreates four musical instruments commonly found in traditional jug bands: washboard, spoons, kazoo, and jug.

Each instrument is played authentically to its physical counterpart: scrub the washboard, tap the spoons on your knee, hum into the kazoo, and buzz your lips into the jug. Even if you are new to playing in a jug band, instructional sheets are provided for each instrument.

The Jug Band app allows you to connect headphones and play along with your iPod music, connect to a speaker for jam sessions with a band, or gather three friends to form a completely digital jug band!

• If you encounter feedback (a shrill noise) upon switching to the jug or kazoo instruments, adjust your volume lower until the feedback ceases. To prevent this issue, consider using headphones or external speakers. Please note that due to the limited size of portable device speakers and their proximity to the microphone, personal use is recommended unless connected to external speakers.
• These instruments perform optimally on the handheld size of the iPhone and iPod touch. iPad users may prefer the Washboard or Autoharp apps.
